Revolution Beaconsfield
The goal for the site refurbishment was simply to breathe new energy into the tired venue to elevate the customer experience. With just a 1 week closure of the site, the scheme focused on adaptive re-use incorporating the the existing structure and material finishes.
In the main bar and restaurant area we created a elegant but youthful vibe inspired by the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus movement, layering decorative murals and patterns. A palette of dusty cobalt blue, red and sandy neutral complements the rustic timber finishes throughout providing a warm, comfortable relaxed vibe.
Th largest changes are in the new garden space where a new curvaceous bench sweeps the perimeter. Relaxing deck chairs and bean bags is the perfect place to chill and enjoy the sunshine amongst greenery. The addition of a feature fire table allows the garden to be enjoyed all year.
The events space was rebranded, and reconfigured driving significant increase in sales, operational flow and customer experience. The scheme combines the fun and premium elements of the Revolution brand to evoke a sense of escapism. A playful biophilic jungle narrative envelopes the space through a vibrant colour palette of greens accented with exotic pinks, inspired by the rich flora and fauna of the Amazon, incorporating the inherited latin floor tiles.
The space embodies many sustainable design principles of circularity. Focusing on re-use we were able to reduce the waste, for example reupholstering and decorating existing features from the previous concept. New elements include timber finishes selected from fast renewing species and mixed material joinery elements were designed for disassembly and recycling at the end of their usable life, without compromising on quality or durability.
