Revolucion de Cuba
Birmingham
Formerly home to Birmingham Law Library, guests are invited in to enjoy a slice of 1940's Cuba hospitality in Birmingham city centre.
Sensitively working with the the historic features of the site to develop a Cuban narrative, the impressive library rooms were transformed into a late night bar and clubroom.
An 11 metre bar counter blends seamlessly with the original library bookcases evoking 1940's Cubana vibes. Vintage green leather and antique mirror panelling combined with rich timber panelling and eclectic chandeliers complete the look.
A circular stage, fitted with vintage scallop shell lamps allows De Cuba's characteristic musicians and dancers to quite literally take centre stage, set in amongst the generous dance floor.
Luxurious velvet drapery with gold bullion fringing was incorporated to improve acoustic performance and glamour.
Leather and velvet seating provide the perfect place for groups to come together around elegant marble tables, surrounded by a eclectic cluster of photos synonymous with Cuba.
