Bardacious, Bath
Situated in central Bath, Bardacious transports you to the tranquil vibes of the Mexican coast, where the jungle meets the sea. Lengthy lunches surrounded by friends in a beach-side cantina sharing small plates and margs where you can almost feel the gentle movement of air and water.
This collaborative project for Field and the client Alejandra Restaurant Group, sensitively navigates the constraints of the Grade II* listed property, seamlessly transforming a former bank into a popular day and night restaurant and tequila bar.
We know the key to a successful hospitality operation is a space that works as hard for the staff as the guests, with a layout meticulously planned around a central bar and open kitchen to the rear. The seating provides flexibility and efficiency with future maintainance considered from the outset.
The project includes natural raw finishes such as clay paints, sustainably sourced mango and reclaimed oak, hessian and grasses to create a warm, relaxed and inviting interior.
